Whitewater University Oscar Trivia Contest
To get the college students excited about reading books that were turned into movies, the Anderson library at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater hosted an Oscar trivia contest. Each day students would view clues that were tacked to a rolling room divider near the Oscar display in the library. After reading the clues, students wrote down what movie the clues were pertaining to. A winner was selected from the correct answers. The staff used artwork hangers to hang miniature movie posters on the portable walls. The students and staff enjoyed the event. When this contest was completed, the room dividers were decorated for another contest for the students.
